Taaru Askan welcomes volunteers at the farm. We provide short term and long term volunteer opportunities.  We ask that short term volunteers commit to working with Taaru Askan for a minimum 2 weeks; long term volunteers are welcome to work with us for up to 3 months.

Volunteers work side by side with our farming team. You live, eat, work and play together throughout your stay. In this sense, volunteering at Taaru Askan farm is also a cultural immersion experience. Moreover, our volunteers learn about traditional farming techniques used in Senegal, the organic methods used on our farm, and more about the health benefits of the fruits and vegetables that we cultivate.
